ABOUT KAREN McCLAY

As a practicing Midwife (RM), Registered Nurse (RN), and owner of Calmbirth, Karen is dedicated to realising her father Peter Jackson's vision of revolutionising the culture of birth. She has incorporated the Calmbirth program into numerous maternity hospitals in NSW and NZ and is in discussions with hospitals in other states. Karen also developed the Calmbirth Conversation Podcast and enjoys collaborating with like-minded organisations and allied health professionals to improve emotional outcomes for women and families. With over 4000 educated couples, Karen has a strong passion for sharing her experience and knowledge with both pregnant couples and birth professionals.​
